JAZZ AT THE WOLF VALLEY CHARITY DAY – VALE DO LOBO MAY 28th., 2011

The New Orleans Jazzband will be playing their own interpretations of jazz greats at the Wolf Valley Golf and Family Charity Day on May 28th., 2011 at Vale do Lobo.

Everyone is welcome. This will be the Wolf Valley Charity’s Twelfth Annual Charity Day.

Charity Day events will include a golf tournament on the Royal and Ocean courses (Four Ball Better Ball Stableford). Prices for the golf are €60 per person (which includes a €5 voucher that can be spent at Spikes).  An added and potentially very valuable attraction is the hole-in-one competition for which the prizes are an Audi and a VW - one on each of the golf courses.  The cars, all presented by Lacocar, will be an Audi A3 Cabriolet on the 16th Hole of the Royal and a Volkswagen Scirocco Cabriolet on the 15th Hole of the Ocean.

The non-golf events will start in the afternoon at 12.30.  These will include a raffle with excellent prizes including British Airways tickets, tombola, two different free wine tastings, a putting competition, a book stall and a cake stall.  For the young there will be a bouncy castle and face painting.

For the hungry and thirsty there will be snacks and drinks available at Spikes and also a barbecue.

Last month Peter Geer, the President of the Wolf Valley Charity Fund, presented a cheque for €70,000 to Hermes Alberto, President of ASCA (Associação Cultural e Social de Almancil).  This was a contribution (now totaling €78,000) from the WVCF towards the purchase of bedroom furniture and fittings for ASCA’s new Home for the Aged in Almancil which was formally opened a short while later.

For more details or to make golf bookings go to the WVCF website www.wolfvalleycharity.com or contact the Wolf Valley Charity Fund at help@wolfvalleycharity.com or at 289394655.
